Stitches

I had my stitches removed on Thurs­day, 10 days after the surgery. It hurts a bit, but is also a relief. I have WASHED MY HAIR for the first time and I feel civilised.
The switch on day is set to March 19th. I can’t wait. It will be a two-day visit to the cen­tre. W. is sched­uled for the same day so I will meet her. K. has a dif­fer­ent device and he will have a switch-on a week earlier.

I am wear­ing one hear­ing aid all this time, on my right ear. It is a bit upset­ting. Talk­ing to my fam­ily or peo­ple I know well is no prob­lem. In noisy places or in social sit­u­a­tions the com­mu­ni­ca­tion is a lit­tle more dif­fi­cult though. I was told not to try the hear­ing aid on my left ear yet since it is still healing.
